The Hillendahl Staff are busy as bees promoting HPL Summer Reading.
At the half way point, we have 674 registered.
Programming in June has been a huge success. We had 15 events with over 900 participants. The average attendance was approximately 65. Customers enjoyed a variety of entertainment: clowns, puppets, magic shows, theater, crafts, gaming and nature shows; bugs, turtles, ferrets and the Audubon Society.
For adults, we have an average of 16 willing senior students participating in the 50+ Computer Club. Topics include file management, e-mail attachments, genealogy and Internet safety. Sue Kauffman, branch manager of the Clayton Genealogy Library, was a recent guest speaker.
